Finding Peace on Ice
Temptation on Ice, by Adrian R. Hale
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️📖 MM | Hockey Romance | Single Dad/Widower | Mental Health Rep | Sexually Fluid Awakening | Love After Loss | Blue-Collar/Celebrity | Service Dogs | Good Boy | Millionaire | Strangers to Friends To Lovers | Class Gap | Slow Burn | Ex- Law Enforcement | Meddling Family | Urban/Country | Workplace Romance | Endearments in Italiano |
🔖 When a work partnership throws them together, Sebastian, captain of the Hydras hockey team, and Tucker, owner of Combat Companions, a service-dog training facility, manage to get literally tangled up in their first meeting. (Cue tiny humans and confused puppies.) Sebastian is trying to raise his son after losing his wife, but can’t shake the feeling that he’s failing. Tucker carries his own hidden scars from years in law enforcement. What starts as a business connection quickly turns into a deep friendship as they navigate their grief and find peace in each other.
Get ready to ugly-cry every time you see a sunset! After Reckless on Ice, I knew this wouldn’t be just another hockey romance, but Adrian takes a trope we love returning to and turns it into a measured, beautiful story of grief, healing, and the impossible pressure to “just move on.” Sprinkle in the intricacies of a sexual fluidity awakening, a kiddo who accepts as easily as he loves, and the pressures of the celebrity spotlight, and you have one of the most emotionally riveting romance books of 2025. Prepare to laugh, cry, and fall wildly in love in a single, glorious binge.
Note: Temptation on Ice is book 2 in the Gods Of The Ice series. It can be read as a standalone, but you will get a few character spoilers if you skip book 1.
❤️ If you’re chasing the quiet intimacy of Broken Alpha by Everleigh Fox, Temptation on Ice is a hat trick you won’t forget.

Leading my 2025 pack
This Vow of Ours, by Lucy Scott Bryan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 MMMFM | Omegaverse | Mafia | Fake Marriage | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Twins | Beta in the Pack | Two Omegas in the Pack | Secret Identity | Childhood Vows | Morally Gray | Possessive MMC | Breath Play | Cop & Criminal |
🔖 This Vow of Ours by Lucy Scott Bryan is the second standalone in the Trinity Alliance trilogy. This action-filled book opens with undercover agent Tally (an omega) heading to Ireland, fueled by revenge and a mission to dismantle the Irish Mafia she blames for tearing her family apart. What she doesn’t expect is that the men she’s hunting have been waiting for her since childhood. Years ago, a pretend wedding bound young Tally to Ronin (the mafia heir), Keegan, and twins Raff and Tynan—a vow made sacred by the tragic death of Ronin’s sister. Now grown, revenge and fate weave them together in a messy, magnetic storm of mafia danger and Omegaverse heat.
Anyone who follows me knows This Thing of Ours ( book one) was my top read of 2024. Lucy Scott Bryan has a true gift for writing character‑driven stories that rip you apart and stitch you back together — and This Vow of Ours is no exception. The mafia twists had me reeling, the secret identities genuinely surprised me (rare, honestly), and the way fate ties it all together? That’s the real magic of romance writing done right.
Bonus treat: Raff is a male Omega, and Keegan, Ronin, and Raff share a beautifully tangled love story of their own. The author doesn’t shy away from showing love in all its forms, and watching that dynamic grow alongside Tally’s return is genuinely gorgeous. Fans of dual Omegas and poly compersion will find SO much to swoon over here.
❤️ Fans of the pack dynamic in Finding the Forward (Jane Handler) will love Pack O’Connor too!

This one’s fighting for top shelf!
No Escape, by Jillian West
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 FMMMM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Pack Beta | Disability Rep | Forced Proximity | Bodyguard/Client | Found Family | Age Gap | Touch Her and D*e | Second Chance Romance
🔖No Escape by Jillian West is the first book in the Mercenaries for Hire duet, and honestly, it grabbed me by the throat from page one. Saylor, a senator’s daughter and unbonded omega, is kidnapped and dumped into a facility where feral alphas are being “rehabilitated” with scent-matched omegas like it’s some kind of high-stakes, hormone-fueled group project. While her old security team scrambles to save her (the same guys who seemingly ghosted her when they realized she was their scent-match, but the age gap made things way too complicated back then…), Saylor is out here throwing herself under the protection of a rabid alpha named Valor and his unhinged Beta, Omen. Choices were made.
What could’ve been just another forced proximity setup turns deliciously messy thanks to heat spikes and fated-mate bonds. Valor is all muscle and menace, Omen is one “please love me” away from snapping, and Saylor? She’s stuck in the middle, desperate for control over her life—and maybe, finally, a pack that feels like home. The spice hits, the emotions sting, and yes, the cliffhanger is rude... but in the best way.
Jillian West is one of my auto-buy authors. She could publish a menu and I’d eat it up. Ruined Records is god-tier for me, and I wasn’t ready for her to come for its crown—but here we are. New to JW? Crack the spine and buckle up. This series is about to own you.
❤️If Shattered Omega (Marie Mackay) had you screaming, this book will make you feral!

Fated in Every Dimension
Dream Girl, by Jane Handler
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 MMMMFM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Portal Romance | Amnesia | Fated Mates | Male Omega | Found Family | Second Chance | Beta in the Pack | Steamy STEM | Expanded ABO | Billionaire | Forced Proximity |
🔖 Grace wakes up on a park bench in a strange, not-quite-hers universe. She’s bruised, battered, and her memories are scattered like pieces of a dream she can’t quite hold onto. On the other side waits the Omegaverse she thought existed only in her dreams, where Wes—an alpha from those very dreams—is real and her fated mate, stitched to her soul across universes. What begins as a portal romance becomes a tapestry of dream-magic and bio-technology, as Grace slowly recalls the brutal world she left behind and fears what might have followed her here. And then, because Jane Handler is the Queen of cliffhangers, we’re left teetering between worlds, counting the days until book two drops in September.
Dream Girl kicks off the Into the Parallel Omegaverse trilogy, and honestly, you can toss all three books straight into your “buy now” pile. Fans of Jane’s Finding the Forward duet will squeal—Grace is Verity’s sister, and the pack dynamics you loved are back, with twists that keep you on your toes. Before Grace arrives, Wes’ pack is dude-dense: a giant male omega, a beta cop, a bio-tech billionaire, and an introverted real-estate mogul. With this eclectic pack, you get a little insta-love (and heat!) alongside some of the slow-burn magic Jane does best. While I expected Jane to nail the Omegaverse romance, I was pleasantly surprised at how she blends fantasy and science into a world that feels truly one-of-a-kind. Consider me stranded in this world, counting the days until books two and three.
Note: This series happens before Finding the Forward, and while fans will spot some fun nods to the other books, you don’t need to have read it first to slip into Grace’s story.
❤️ If you still dream of the pack drama, instant sparks, and complicated acceptance in The Scent of Us by Eliana Lee, you’ll be swept away by Dream Girl!

Love without conditions
Altius, by Greer Hudson
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 MMFMMM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Anosmia | Disabilty Rep | Fated Mates | Mental Health Rep | Steamy STEM | Age Gap | Beta in the Pack | Celebrities | Millionaires | Second Chance | Brothers in the Pack | Workplace Romance |
🔖Altius by Greer Hudson follows Morgan Van Daal as she navigates the lasting medical complications from her accident in book one, along with the uncertainty of building a new life outside her sister’s care. Locker room drama unfolds when pheromones appear to be weaponized against the football team, while Morgan faces harassment on the job and the growing worry of her scent-matched mate’s unexplained illness. This is book 2 of 3 in The Scent of Victory trilogy, where romance tangles with mystery and Morgan learns that independence isn’t always a solo act.
I fell in love with Morgan in book one, and book two only deepened that connection. Too often, stories about disability or chronic illness frame love as something that “fixes” a character, but Greer never takes that shortcut. Morgan will always face serious medical challenges and need care in big ways, yet she also fights for her independence and maintains a successful career. Instead of erasing that reality, Greer gives us a group of men who love her exactly as she is, and who are strengthened by her in return. As someone with chronic health struggles myself, I saw so much of my own experience in Morgan, and it meant everything to see a flawed, complicated heroine who proves you don’t need to be fixed to be loved. Altius delivers what so many of us with chronic illness need to hear—you don’t have to go it alone.
❤️ If you are missing the steamy STEM and mystery of Dream Girl by Jane Handler, you will flip for Altius!
