Mafia Omegaverse with a Heart
This Thing of Ours, by Lucy Scott Bryan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 FMMM | Omegaverse | Mafia | Fake Dating | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Twins | Bondage | Knife Play | Morally Gray | Possessive MC | Touch Her and D*E
🔖 In This Thing of Ours, Layne, an Omega on the run from her abusive ex — a member of the Bratva — stumbles upon the aftermath of a shooting and saves the life of Matteo, the Beta of the De Luca Pack. As a part of the Italian Cosa Nostra, the pack owes her a life-debt, but they offer a more mutual arrangement — protection from her past in exchange for allowing them to publicly court her, strengthening their standing in the mafia. But as the men climb the ranks and Layne learns to trust Alphas again, their carefully crafted fake arrangement becomes anything but pretend.
I'm a huge fan of the author's other Omegaverse series, especially The Deal and The Gift, and This Thing of Ours offers a thoughtful look at resilience and healing. Layne’s journey is especially moving as she’s given the tools to regain her strength while surrounded by men who genuinely care for and protect her. The De Luca Pack’s ruthless dominance in the mafia world paired with their unwavering kindness and devotion to Layne makes this another brilliant example of how the right partners can help someone truly thrive.
❤️ If His Tesoro (Emilia Rossi) had you in your feels, this one will too!

This one’s fighting for top shelf!
No Escape, by Jillian West
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 FMMMM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Pack Beta | Disability Rep | Forced Proximity | Bodyguard/Client | Found Family | Age Gap | Touch Her and D*e | Second Chance Romance
🔖No Escape by Jillian West is the first book in the Mercenaries for Hire duet, and honestly, it grabbed me by the throat from page one. Saylor, a senator’s daughter and unbonded omega, is kidnapped and dumped into a facility where feral alphas are being “rehabilitated” with scent-matched omegas like it’s some kind of high-stakes, hormone-fueled group project. While her old security team scrambles to save her (the same guys who seemingly ghosted her when they realized she was their scent-match, but the age gap made things way too complicated back then…), Saylor is out here throwing herself under the protection of a rabid alpha named Valor and his unhinged Beta, Omen. Choices were made.
What could’ve been just another forced proximity setup turns deliciously messy thanks to heat spikes and fated-mate bonds. Valor is all muscle and menace, Omen is one “please love me” away from snapping, and Saylor? She’s stuck in the middle, desperate for control over her life—and maybe, finally, a pack that feels like home. The spice hits, the emotions sting, and yes, the cliffhanger is rude... but in the best way.
Jillian West is one of my auto-buy authors. She could publish a menu and I’d eat it up. Ruined Records is god-tier for me, and I wasn’t ready for her to come for its crown—but here we are. New to JW? Crack the spine and buckle up. This series is about to own you.
❤️If Shattered Omega (Marie Mackay) had you screaming, this book will make you feral!

Skates, Stakes, and Second Chances
Finding the Forward, Part One, by Jane Handler
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 MMMMF | Omegaverse | Hockey | Why Choose/Poly | Disability Rep |Fated Mates | Female Alpha | Male Omega | Found Family | Second Chance | BDSM |
🔖 In Finding the Forward, Part One, Verity, a female Alpha whose family never taught her how to embrace her designation, moves to New York to build a new life with her younger sister, Mercy. A chance encounter with Grif, a Beta hockey player, on a plane sparks an undeniable connection, but they part ways without knowing how to find each other again. Fate reunites them in New York, where Grif plays hockey alongside his pack, Mercy joins the professional Skate Smash team, and Verity begins to develop deep feelings for not only Grif but the rest of his pack — culminating in a fantastic designation twist that will have you screaming in triumph.
I fell in love with Verity and Grif from the very first scene, and meeting each of their pack members only cemented them as my favorite pack of 2025. Jane Handler achieves a level of character development that’s rare in the Omegaverse world, with every character bringing their own unique strengths to support and uplift each other in ways that made my heart ache in the best way. The moment I finished, I immediately put the book down and bought part two. Also, tiny COWS wearing sweaters.
❤️ If you longed for the pack in The Beta (Avanne Michaels), you’ll fall hard for this pack!

Gritty Mafia Romance with Heartfelt Chronic Illness Rep
His Tesoro, by Emilia Rossi
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 MF | Mafia | Arranged Marriage | Disability Rep | Age Gap | Grumpy/Sunshine | Found Family | Sub/Dom | Morally Gray | Possessive MC | Touch Her and D*E
🔖 Sofiya has spent her life in the shadows, cast aside by her father, the head of the Bratva, because her Ehlers-Danlos syndrome affects her physical mobility in a world obsessed with strength. Forced into an arranged marriage with Matteo, the ruthless leader of the Five Families, she hopes for a fresh start but is met with his cold rejection. Yet as unexpected trust and affection grow between them, old betrayals resurface and whispers of a family traitor threaten to shatter everything they've built.
Emilia Emerson has already proven herself as one of the best Omegaverse authors, and under the name Emilia Rossi, she brings that same grit and emotional depth to the mafia world of His Tesoro. The chronic illness representation is beautifully done, with Sofiya’s journey of realizing how her father denied her proper care hitting especially hard. Matteo’s unwavering devotion and the way he prioritizes her comfort and safety offer a deeply moving portrayal of love and acceptance, making this an unforgettable start to the Empire of Royals series. Also, NOODLE.
❤️If you loved This Thing of Ours (Lucy Scott Bryan), you need this book!

Choosing Love Again
The Heat of Us, by Eliana Lee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️📖 FMMM | Omegaverse | Why Choose/Poly | Fated Mates | Pack Beta | Sex Workers | Found Family | Best Friends Brother | Impact Play |
🔖The Heat of Us by Eliana Lee is an Omegaverse following an omega who rejects the idea of forming a pack after severing her bond with a previous alpha through bond dissolution. Initially collaborating with a fellow sex worker, Ryder, for content, she develops unexpected feelings for him, and when she pushes her best friend’s brother, Ben, into a late-in-life Alpha emergence, their scent sympathy stirs memories of her past bond. As she also grows close to Aleks, a beta from her building, Ben recognizes that she’s unknowingly forming a new pack—one that will stand by her when the religious zealot family she left behind threatens her future.
I read and loved The Scent of Us duet, so I was already familiar with the bond dissolution concept, but this book was tremendously special. The twist that Hazel's relationship with her previous Alpha was a happy and loving one, only to be torn apart by tragedy, had me sobbing in a parking lot. Watching her find the strength to risk her heart again for the chance at a pack was amazing, and the banter between the characters — especially the hilarious toothpick scene with Hazel and Aleks — made it all the more memorable, as did the heartfelt depiction of how the Prime Alpha position was chosen based on care rather than dominance.
❤️ Fans of The Deal (Lucy Scott Bryan) will love watching another pack come together around their omega!
