🔖 Dream Mates by Jane Handler is book two in the Into the Parallel Omegaverse trilogy. This review is spoiler-light, but if you haven’t devoured Dream Girl yet, proceed with caution!
In Dream Mates, Grace’s blurry past life comes crashing into focus–and with those answers come even bigger questions. Jane Handler could start charging tuition for the way she schools us in character arcs. Known for her sharp character work, she takes the threads from book one and weaves them into a beautiful tapestry of love, loyalty and found family. Her worldbuilding also levels up here, taking the portal romance concept and twisting it into something I honestly never saw coming. By the final page, I was already dreaming of book three, desperate to see how Jane gives these characters their happily ever after!
Note: Dream Mates is book 2 of a trilogy and cannot be read as a standalone. Now that I’ve read it, I strongly encourage you to pick up the Finding the Forward duet before diving into this series.
