I have never seen a more successful transition from bad boy to full-on simp, and I am cooked. Normally, give me a tattooed, gray-sweatpants-wearing chef and I can spot the ending from a mile away. But I did not see the jump to “It’s Always Been You” energy, complete with “Good boy” praise and actual whimpering. #BookBoyfriend goals. The character growth? Chef’s kiss. The family tension? So well earned. And the spice? Had me saying, “Yes, Chef.”
